South Logan County Recycling Center

South Logan County Recycling Center is located inside the Logan County yard lot, next to Raggio’s Excavating, on N. Highway 23.

Hours: Wednesday 10 am – 5 pm / Saturday 8 am – 3 pm

There are three blue dumpsters and a metal building for recycling of the following items:

The shed has bins for electronics, televisions, radios, monitors, small batteries, small appliances, coffee pots, etc. There is also a bin for paint cans.

Tires may be placed and stacked next to the shed. Limit of 4 times per month. Rims should be removed from the tires.

The first large recycling bin is for plastics and cans including aluminum and tin cans. Labels should be removed, and items rinsed out, so as not to attract bees and wasps.

The second recycling bin is for cardboard. Boxes need to be flattened and all cardboard, including cereal boxes can go in this bin.

The third recycling bin is for paper, junk mail, magazines, and shredded paper.

Please DO NOT bring glass or motor oil items. If you are going to recycle and we hope you do be responsible and follow the rules. Recently, we have had some problems with people using this for their trash. The city of Booneville does have a trash pick-up, and you can also have your trash picked up by a trash service within Logan County. Thank you.
