Community News by the People for the People of South Logan County

The RattleCat's misson is to keep the residents of South Logan County connected through a local community bulletin board wth news, business, stories, notices from public officials, local clubs, school districts, events, going-ons, and more.

We greatly appreciate the amount of positive feedback that has been received since beginning this project. The RattleCat can only survive through the support of caring citizens, so please submit your news, your stories, and allow The RattleCat to be your first choice in advertising. Thank you.

If you have news or an event you'd like to share please send it via email stories@therattlecat.com.

I completed my Bachelor of Science Information Technology Multimedia and Visual Communication from University of Phoenix in 2012. From 2012 until 2017 I worked for Web-Productions Inc., in Booneville, AR. as a Project Manager for many successful projects. One of my favorite hobby projects is This Is Arkansas". We have created many video documentaries about Life in Arkansas. Many of those projects was in close collaboration with Dr. Curtis Varnell of Paris, AR. In 2020 I began studies to earn a Masters in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I expect to graduate next August. The RattleCat has been a project stewing for several months. I was finally encouraged to step out of my comfort zone and do something to give back to the communities of South Logan County. This endeavor can only be successful with continued support from all of us who live here. Thank you.
