This & That, May 10, 2022

WOW! After so much rain, a few days of glorious sunshine makes you want to get out and plant something or enjoy the flowers that have appeared, but first you will need to mow the yard.

It is a very busy time of the year. The end of school is near. Prom, Parties, Programs, Graduations, Ballgames, Track & Field Meets. The list goes on and on. Then the Cemetery Decorations at different cemeteries.

Weddings, family reunions, and any number of other things such as camping and fishing.

Iris update: I had several more colors to pop up, but some are still missing. Maybe next year.

May 8, 1945: President Harry S. Truman announced on the radio that Nazi Germany’s forces had surrendered and that “ the flags of freedom fly all over Europe.”

The end of May is Memorial Day. A day to honor all those who died during several WARS to keep this country free. Until next time, take care.
